// about

Built for teams that care about context.

VAEKTOR was born from a simple frustration: AI coding tools are powerful, but they don't know your codebase. They can't see your architecture decisions, your naming conventions, or why that function was written the way it was.

We believe AI tools should understand your code the way your best engineer does — with full context, history, and intent. That's why we built VAEKTOR: a codebase intelligence platform that indexes your repositories with semantic embeddings and exposes them via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

The result? Your AI tools get exactly the context they need. No more copy-pasting. No more explaining the same architecture over and over. No more burning tokens on blind searches.

// the name

VAEKTOR = VECTOR.

pronounced /ˈvɛktər/ · AE = Æ, the Danish vowel

They are homophones — pronounced identically. The Danish letter Æ replaces the English E while keeping the exact same sound.

In mathematics and physics, a vector is a directed quantity — something with both magnitude and direction. That is what VAEKTOR gives your AI tools: not just raw code, but context that points in the right direction.
